tomorrow

tomorrow, it’s always tomorrow

first thing first, tomorrow

how often that little voice

whispers yesterday.

It’s here, tomorrow

perhaps this is the last line

until tomorrow

beneath the moon words become

a liquid to be consumed

by readers such as yourself

who are thirsty for

tomorrow.

before my ink dries tomorrow

let my heart dissolve all sorrows

place thoughts on paper

to be cherished like a gift

unrecognized.
