Nature offers a symphony
on this mountain road
sweet sounds wait to be
accepted by all who venture upwards
who truly see.
Down by a creek along the road
if you listen you can hear water
ripple across rocks on their journey
to the reservoir below
perhaps see a toad
sipping a sip to quench its thirst.
On this mountain road come evening
you can breath in a majestic sunset
and not much longer afterwards
wish upon a star you select.
I sincerely hope you hear a symphony
rejoice within your heart
you’ve been given moments
it’s never too late to start
