words spilling out onto a blank page

vision blurred

like the year 2020.

Some of my heroes departed

some of my enemies too

some were laid to rest

while some just left town

in a hurry.

I have smiled and suffered

the past 365

came to terms with conflicts

carefully rearranged

my life to suit me

as I continue my battles.

It’s almost here

2021

waiting for new and improved

possibilities

to breathe

peace and love.
