The deal

In a dimly lit bar corner

stakes were high

the deal could make or break

a normal guy but Buck

wasn’t near that nor about

to change now.

As the cards were dealt

heart after heart appeared

reminding him of his family

so he went all in.

As luck would have it

his straight flush won the pot

and he excused himself for the night

took his winnings home.

He just didn’t have a cigar..

the deal
