Happily ever after

He promised her a sweet home

a place to enjoy nature

a chance to see places

only imagined in daydreams.

He told her while holding her

you can decorate the interior

I’ll do the upkeep on the exterior

and you can have flowers

grow upstairs.

She smiled and said okay

as he hurried away

came back in a couple hours

with home sweet home

and yes, they lived

happily ever after…
